Jamie Ito

Jamie Ito is the founder of Ito Law, a Florida-based firm representing employers in complex employment and appellate litigation. A 2005 graduate of the Florida State University College of Law, Jamie’s career has spanned state government, the non-profit sector, and private practice — experience that gives her a deep understanding of how law and policy intersect in the real world. Before launching her firm in 2017, she served with the Florida Office of the Attorney General, where she litigated on behalf of the State of Florida in both trial and appellate courts.

Jamie is admitted to practice before the Florida Bar, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She serves on the Board of Directors of Legal Services of North Florida, Inc., and as Director of Administration for Engage Y’all! PAC — a woman-led, Southern-rooted political action committee that supports bold progressive candidates running in tough districts across the South.

Jamie and her husband Marc, who practices administrative law locally, have two sons — one attending Florida State University and another at Leon High School — and a beloved dog named Teddy. When she’s not working, Jamie enjoys hiking and exploring natural, wild spaces.
